Welcome to the restaurant

Welcome to the restaurant

welcome
to the restaurant

The Restaurant du Château is, above all, a home.

A home where we cook with dedication but without strictness.

A home where we love to welcome guests.

A home that thrives with its land, its producers, its seasons... and its memories.

A home designed to make you feel right at home.

In the heart of the medieval village of Kaysersberg, across from its 16th-century fountain and surrounded by half-timbered houses, the Château Restaurant is set in a historic and charming setting.

Here, Alexandre and Tom welcome you to a charming village landmark, where the idea for the now-famous Kaysersberg Christmas market was born, spreading joy well beyond Alsace.

Our Story

welcome
to the restaurant

We met at the age of 18 at the benches of hotel school, with two ideas already in mind: to have endless adventures and to open a restaurant together. Two dreams that have never left us. For over ten years, each of us honed our skills in extraordinary establishments—Alexandre in the kitchen, Tom in the dining room. Then came the call of Alsace, our roots, along with the desire to create a place that truly reflects us.

Today, the Château Restaurant represents the culmination of a friendship, a shared passion, and a simple belief: to eat well, to warmly welcome guests, and to inspire them to return.

Alexandre has been part of prestigious establishments such as La Dame de Pic * – Megève (Anne-Sophie Pic), Caprice – Hong Kong *** (Guillaume Galliot), and L’Alchémille – Kaysersberg * (Jérôme Jaegle).

Trained in the grand French tradition and enriched by contemporary experiences, today he crafts a cuisine that is precise, elegant, and deeply rooted in its ingredients. His approach is simple: respect the seasons, work with quality products, and offer a generous and accessible cuisine — the kind that brings joy to share.
